Lawn sweeper
Choosing your lawn sweeper

Before you start looking for a lawn sweeper to purchase, there are a few things that you need to take into consideration.
Firstly, you need to deceide on what size lawn sweeper you require for your garden. There are two main types of lawn sweeper which are, the tow behind lawn sweeper and the push sweeper which is a manual lawn sweeper pushed around by yourself.
What lawn sweeper?
Tow behind lawn sweepers are the perfect answer for somebody who has a large yard or garden or has a lot of land that they need to take care of. The tow behind lawn sweeper attaches onto the tow bar at the back of a garden tractor or an ATV and work brilliantly for large areas of land and big gardens and take out all of the manual grunt work. If you want to invest in a tow behind lawn sweeper then you also need to take into consideration that these take a lot of room and you will need quite a large area of storage space and also a larger budget because the tow behind sweepers are much more expensive than the manual push sweepers.
If you only have a smaller yard or garden to take care of, then you will be better off buying a manual push or pull lawn sweeper. Even though this does take a bit of manual labour, they are no harder to use than a regular, manual lawn mower.
Once you have decided which lawn sweeper would be the best investment for you then you should also take into consideration which model would provide the best service for the tasks you want your lawn sweeper to carry out.
If you just require a few leaves to be picked up by your lawn sweeper, then you should be OK with any type of make and model of lawn sweepers but if you require something a little bit more powerful to pick up twigs or pine cones then you will need to carry out a bit more research on which models will be best for your needs. Carry out a search on the internet and you should be able to find a few customer or product reviews of the models of lawn sweepers that you are interested in.
These reviews will be vitally important because there are many models of lawn sweepers available but some of the models are just not powerful enough to carry out some of the heavier cleaning duties like the twigs and pine cones or even wet leaves.
What waste have you got?
It is also a good idea to find a lawn sweeper that has a good height adjustment mechanism so that you will find it easier to deal with your garden if you have some uneven areas or hilly parts to your land.
You should also take a lot at the size of the hamper or hopper size because if you get a smaller sized hopper or hamper, then you may be spending a lot of time travelling backwards and forwards to empty the hopper or hamper. If you only have a small amount of land or a small garden or yard then the smaller hoppers or hampers might be adequate, but if you have a larger area that you need to take of, then you should seriously consider spending a little bit more to get a larger sized hopper to save a lot of messing about.
